West Sacramento Fire Department Engineer Dies in Training Exercise

WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - It is with great sadness that we report West Sacramento Fire Department Fire Engineer Tim Hall, an 18-year veteran with the West Sacramento Fire Department (WSFD) died Sept. 23 in the line of duty during a training exercise.
Hall, 59, was a graduate of the 2006 Sacramento Regional Fire Academy.
Additionally, Hall was an active volunteer with Clarksburg Fire Protection District.
While with the West Sacramento Fire Department, Hall was a fire investigator, an active member of Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 7, and a dedicated Fire Engineer.
“Our fire department is heartbroken,” said the West Sacramento Fire Department Chief Steve Binns. “Engineer Hall loved this City and bravely served to protect our community.”
