WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG)The City of West Sacramento is a city full of staff and community officials, as well as community members that care about the well-being of fellow community members. As a result of this, West Sacramento is known as being an innovative city that produces programs and ideas outside the box, to aid in finding solutions to problems.

If you know someone who could use some supportive services, here are some places to start.

Immediate Resources On-Site: The Project Homekey Site is located at 817 West Capitol Ave., West Sacramento, CA, 95691. They are open Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 4p.m. Project Homekey has available: food, water, clothes, hygiene, pet food, ID vouchers and bus passes. In addition, they offer a Thrive Lives life skills class, with a hot meal! This class takes place on Wednesdays from 12 p.m. - 1p.m. Project Homekey also offers Harm Reduction Services on Tuesdays from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., in the gravel parking lot.

Yolo County Children’s Alliance (YCCA) case managers can make referrals for Mental Health Services & Substance Abuse Treatment Services. YCCA case managers can check availability at Fourth and Hope Shelter in Woodland and arrange for transportation to the shelter, located at 1901 East Beamer St., Woodland, CA, 95776.

Work Opportunities & Support: Downtown Streets Team. Work opportunities are available, join the Streets Team! Weekly on Thursdays at 11:15 a.m. at 920 Drever St., West Sacramento.

Supportive Services with YCCA: YCCA Family Resource Center (916) 572-0560, located at 1200 Anna St., West Sacramento. Food distribution EVERY Friday 9 a.m., Family Support Programs, Parent Education Programs, Housing Services.
