WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Ready, Set, Save Incentive Opportunities for the month of December have been posted. The West Sacramento Home Run program has eligible activities coming up that can add money to your accounts. This holiday season, empower your child’s future with the gift of education! Instead of gifts your child will outgrow or lose interest in, your friends and family can contribute to your child’s ScholarShare 529 account with Ugift®. As a special incentive, for every child that establishes their Ugift® unique code, we’re thrilled to contribute $10 to your child’s Ready, Set, Save! account. Encourage friends and family to embrace the spirit of lasting impact by gifting the promise of education.

Here's how to earn this incentive: 1.Follow a step-by-step guide on how to obtain your Ugift® code at scholarshare. 2. Select print, and print to PDF for your records. 3. Fill out our activity claim form and select “Special Incentive.” 4. Upload the PDF of the code as verification.

The scheduled incentives so far are as follows: Ages 0-4: none scheduled, Ages 5-10: December 6 – Paint & Snack, Dec 8 – Kids Night Out, December 15 – Lego Block Party, December 20 – Paint and snack, December 22 – Parent’s Night Out. Ages 11-13: same as ages 5-10. Ages 14-18: December 2 – Yolo County Climate Action, December 6 – City Council or Port Commission, December 21 – Planning Commission. There is a $20 incentive for public speaking. Also, a $20 Incentive for all family events, which include: Dec 1 – West Sac Tree Lighting, December 3 – Cocoa with Santa, December 8 – Art Reception, Art by Reggie, December 16 – Cookie Decorating, December 30 – Family Movie.
