GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Butte County Behavior Health held a welcoming event for their new Gridley Wellness Center.

The new Butte County Wellness Center, part of the Butte County Behavioral Health Gridley location, held an open house Monday, October 17, to invite the community to learn more about its resources.

With the welcome mat rolled out, the group served donuts and drinks outside their Spruce Street location and visited with the public, sharing information about their “Recovery Model Philosophy” which emphasizes learning how to live life while managing the difficulties posed [by] mental health challenges.

The wellness center offers peer support and specialists that can evaluate clients’ specific needs and link them to services that can aid daily wellness.

The Gridley Wellness Center is located at 995 Spruce St., Gridley, CA and is open Monday- Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. For more information, please call (530) 846-7305.
