GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) -The Widener-Spring Band (WSB Band for short), is a local group of musicians that will keep everyone’s toes tapping on Red Suspenders Day.
The gazebo in Daddow Park will feature these delightful instrumentalist and singers who will be providing a mix of music from ‘50s Pop, Country, Gospel and various musical hits common today. Come before and after the parade to enjoy this delightful entertainment.
The band consists of a keyboard player, a drummer, a guitarist, a bass player and two female singers. Paul Widener, Luke Widener, Amy Widener, Jamie Spring, Quinn Spring, and Maura Spring have worked together for the last several years having fun sharing their love of music with the public. In the past they have played for the residents of Gridley at the Farmer’s Market, pulling from their years of experience in music to make local events lively and enjoyable.
Come to Daddow Park on May 21 during Red Suspenders Days to see the booths and hear the Widener-Spring Band. In addition to public performances, this band can be heard regularly at Calvary Chapel as the worship band.
