Dear Yuba County residents

Yuba County Public Health is initiating a Community Health Improvement Process which will allow us to assess the current health needs of our community. This process is a comprehensive approach to assessing community health and developing and implementing action plans to improve the health of Yuba County residents.  

Since our last Community Health Improvement Process in 2017, significant events have impacted the health of our community. The Community Health Improvement process is our opportunity to re-assess the current pressing health needs of the Yuba County community and decide collectively what health priorities we need to address. 

Yuba County Public Health is inviting you to an introduction meeting scheduled for June 8, 2022, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Yuba County Board Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an overview of the Community Health Improvement Process and ask for your input on how to effectively engage with Yuba County community members in this process. We hope to conduct focus groups to obtain community feedback through the summer of 2022 and start on the community health improvement plan and finalization of action items by mid-2023.
