WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The 2021 Sacramento Harvest Festival Arts and Crafts Fair took place this weekend at Cal Expo. This 3 day event is held every year and it jumps off the shopping season for holiday shopping. With hundreds of vendors of handmade items, there was quite a lot to see. It cost $9 to park and between $4-$9 to get in, but if you were looking for original gifts, and your budget wasn’t too tight, this was your place.
The wide variety of items included, but was not limited to, food items, jewelry, home décor, clothing, leather items, and much, much more. The level of skill in making these items is always amazing… and impressive, but never cheap! Even something like honey, was $20 for a pound of honey (it doesn’t take very much honey to make 1 pound).
There were items that were sewn, built, cooked, constructed and assembled. One thing for sure is that all of the items in the harvest festival were created with love, care and pride. It doesn’t really matter what your style is, chances are there was something there that would have gotten your attention.
The Harvest Festival Craft Fair comes to Cal Expo every year, so if you happened to miss it this year, you can look for it next year. Or better yet you can sign up for Cal Expo’s Newsletter at www.calexpostatefair/events to be notified of all the events that are planned at Cal Expo.
